How to Make Her Go Lovesick Instead of You
By Bernard Y
There are indeed a whole lot of men out there who would want to get a woman to chase after them, especially those which they're genuinely interested in. You'll also find some other guys who've made blunders in such efforts and made the error of overcomplicating things.
The truth is that, with most average looking guys, they regularly forget to depend on the things that make them stand out the most. They not remember to carry themselves accordingly, as a result losing the attention of the female they fancy. Soon after, they'd end up feeling lovesick.
They would not want to get out of the bed and would just rather mope around, dwelling in depression and misery. However, you will find certain strategies which you can integrate in order to keep away from feeling like this and getting her to actually approach you more frequently. These are just some of the tips which you can consider if you ever wish to get her to be the love sick one instead.
You will need to change your strategy. if you ever really want to be the one chased after by her, you must keep in mind which you cannot appear needy. You might actually like to think about learning how to attract their interest in you. As a matter of fact, you can start off by playing things cool. This will help take charge of the pace, and let things work out to your advantage.
The next thing which you'll want to be aware that is that you don't desire to get overexcited at the first hint of her showing any interest in you. As a matter of fact, this is almost certainly one of the worst things you may ever do, since you're just coming off as needy. No female wants a needy guy, and you will eventually get back to the old drawing board if you ever portray yourself as such. as a result, you'll want to keep calm at all times.
Finally, the most important thing to do is to leave her alone for rather a bit of time. if you ever want to stay away from looking like a lovesick puppy all the time, change up the strategies and simply give her space. Soon enough she will start noticing that you're not paying much attention to you, and you will just end up being the one she's chasing after. This is a strategy that works, since a woman needs attention, and you depriving her of it will make her wish to get your interest even more.

What Benefit Does A Man Receive From "LOVE?"
By Sean T. Alexandre
This is something I've been thinking heavily about for a few years now. Even as a child, the whole idea of love just never sat well with me. The thought I'm pondering is something I've been trying to find an answer to since again, childhood. The thought is: What benefit does a man receive from love in American society?
It seems to me that the whole love thing is setup to benefit only women. Think about it: A man is the one who's told that he has to court the woman (in other words, he has to chase the woman), even if its her who's interested in him and not the other way around. During this chase, the woman is likely to play games and send the guy running in circles. A man is also told that he's supposed to be successful in life, not for himself, but to one day take care of a woman. A man is told that after the woman has him jump through hoops a.k.a "courting," he's supposed to support her financially. Then the man is told to marry the woman, making their relationship legally binding. If things don't work out, the woman is rewarded half of the man's assets plus spousal support... predicated upon whether or not a prenuptial agreement was signed. Even if there was a prenuptial agreement is signed, the law is so much in favor of women that they will find loopholes around that.
With all of that said, again, what benefit does a man receive from this love thing in American society? I want you women who may be reading this to ask yourselves this seriously. The reason I'm posing this question to you society, especially women is because a lot of them are wondering why they're single and having a difficult time changing that. it's because men are now catching on to the American style of "love." Its setup only to benefit the woman. From birth, a man is pretty much told that his sole purpose for being on earth is to cater to women. A man has to be damn near Superman to please a woman in today's society and that's why so many men today have emotional and mental issues... because of the unrealistic burden placed upon men. But society doesn't want to talk about that.
At the same time, women aren't being taught to earn the things they seek. Instead, they're being taught that they're entitled to the utmost respect and the finer things in life by way of a man providing them just because they're a woman. Other men have caught on. Personally, I've dropped out of dating, relationships... etc. I want nothing to do with it because I don't get any benefit from it. Besides, as Gordon Gekko so eloquently stated in the movie Wall Street: "We are smart enough not to buy in to the oldest myth running; love. Fiction created by people to keep them from jumping out of windows. "
Some of you may be wondering, "If you've dropped out of dating/relationships, what about family?" That's simple. Marrying for love is a westernized idea. In other nations, people marry as sort of a business arrangement. Both parties bring something to the table (usually both families are well off or both people benefit mutually), they come together in order to have a family. Nothing more. Why do you think a guy like Jay-Z marries Beyonce? Or a guy like Will Smith marries Jada Pinkett? There are average everyday women prettier than both Jada and Beyonce. But its not about that or love, its about those two couples combining assets (which Beyonce and Jada has and the average woman don't) and raising a family... a business deal. That part of society knows what everyday society doesn't, which is... marrying for love is a fool's game. Marrying for love is why the American divorce rates are so dismal. Marrying for love is just not natural, especially when there's only one party receiving all the benefits... the women.
There is an exception to the rule, of course. I've encountered many married couples who have been marries for longer than I've been alive. Some of you think they married for love, but not entirely. During those times, a woman had something to bring to the table that the man couldn't bring and vice versa, and they got together and started families. Under that agreement, their marriages flourished for decades upon decades.
I know some of you aren't going to want to hear this because as a woman, you receive all the benefits of love as we know it. But that idea of love is why you're single. How much love can there really be if only one person is receiving all the benefits of that relationship? Don't believe me? For starters, stop your average woman and ask her what she desires in a man and I can almost guarantee you that she will have a bunch of outrageous demands, but she won't be able to offer even one-tenth of the things she's asking for.
That's my take on love in America. My view is brutal, its unorthodox, but you can't deny that that's how things are...

Balancing Emotions and Reason In a Relationship
By Hannah E Fairfield
Is it better to follow logic or impulse in a relationship? Should you go with your gut or should you analyze every little detail? It can be very tempting to let your feelings lead you at every turn, but your mind can loom over you and make you wonder whether you're making the right decisions or saying the right things. Our society doesn't provide very clear guidance; romantic media always portrays the idea that love wins out over all, but logic prevails in day-to-day situations. So which should you choose? How should you act in your relationship?
Using Your Heart
You can't go through life without listening to what your heart is telling you. Feelings are strong and going against them can be all too difficult at times. Often there is a reason for this. Your emotions are instinctual and instinct exists for a reason. There's a saying, "The heart wants what it wants." This is very true, and a lot of times there is no reasoning yourself out of what you are feeling.
All of that said, following your feelings exclusively can be disastrous. Emotions are driven by desire, which can lead to selfishness and illogical decision making. By no means should you ignore what your heart and your gut are telling you when dealing with men, but exclusively trusting your emotions to lead you down the right path in love will never work out.
Think About It First
Any intelligent woman will question the relationship she is in. It's smart to put thought into whether or not you should date a certain man, whether you should be the first to drop the "I love you" bomb or whether you should continue in a rocky relationship. It's important to think things through before making decisions, even if your heart is pulling you in the opposite direction.
Be wary of being overly analytical, however. If you spend too much time thinking about every little move he makes, obsessing over what you wear for your dates or pre-planning each word you say, it can easily drive you crazy. Being logical and aware in a relationship is important, but don't let your mind completely take over your dating life. After all, you are looking for love!
Find a Balance
Keep in mind that men are just like us - they battle with emotion versus reason on a regular basis, too. Choosing one or the other should not be the case; acknowledging both your emotions and your sense of reason can help you look at decisions from multiple sides, and thus make choices that are better for your relationship. It's not a matter of following your head or your heart, it's learning how to blend the two!

How to Let Him Know You Care Without Scaring Him Off
By Hannah E Fairfield
Are you seeing someone who makes you feel really special and you'd like to do the same? Are you concerned that your efforts to show him that you love him might make him turn tail and run? Or are you in a young relationship that you'd really like to take to the next level? Thought it can be intimidating, it is not as difficult as it may seem to show a man how deeply you care for him.
Don't Go Too Far!
Keep in mind that guys are guys! Most men are not the type to respond to mushy advances, especially in the public eye. If you're hanging out with him and his group of friends, perhaps that is not the best time to loudly declare your affections and give him a big smooch! This is not to say that you can't be doting or affectionate with him at all, but take his feelings into consideration. Guys are pretty easy to embarrass in a group, so try to figure out where he would draw the line - even if he won't tell you. If he squirms away when you try to hold his hand, he might not feel comfortable doing so at that moment. However, that doesn't mean he won't want to hold your hand later at the theater or in the cab ride home.
Rushing = Running
Letting him know that you care for him deeply and would like to continue the relationship is one thing, but pushing him into something he is not read for can be the kiss of death for a budding romance. Take your time and let the relationship develop naturally. Discussing marriage on the third date would scare any guy away! Men are typically not enthused by the idea of commitment, especially right off the bat. Let him take the reins and decide when to take your relationship to the next level, otherwise you risk scaring him off.
Pace Yourself
While you may feel like you are falling fast and hard for this guy, you may not want to express those feelings right away. Making him feel that you love him and telling him that you love him are two very different things, and the latter can have a negative response if he is not ready for something more serious than your current relationship. Show him that you love him instead of just saying it. This will help his feelings for you to have time to grow and your potential long-term romance will be better for it!

Suspicion Ruins Relationships: How to Stop It
By Hannah E Fairfield
Are you one of those women who can't stand to not know where her man is and what he's doing? If he doesn't pick up the phone on the first ring, do you get nervous? When you finally do see him, do you question him on every detail of the time you spent apart? These are all major signs of jealousy, and this could be devastating to your relationship. While some insecurity is normal, acting on it is a sign of weakness. You need to learn how to stop being suspicious or you could lose your man forever.
The first thing you have to do is realize that these insecurities are your own problem, not his. You have to know and understand that your jealous behavior is a result of something wrong in your heart, not necessarily something wrong in your relationship. Perhaps you've been cheated on in the past, or maybe you're just nervous because you care about him so much. Either way, you need to recognize that the problem lies within you and it must be addressed by you. Keep in mind that he's dating you because he chose you; there is a reason he wants to be with you. Focus on the positive aspects of yourself and your relationship and these insecurities will begin to fade.
You must also learn to trust the guy you're dating. Sure, some men cheat and lie, but that is not all of them. Any guy would get irritated if his girlfriend was constantly questioning his every move. Your fears are based in something within yourself, whether it is a negative past or a general lack of confidence. But if you want the relationship to succeed, you absolutely must understand that he is not to blame for these insecurities.
If you find your insecurities crippling, perhaps it's time to discuss it with your partner. Don't be accusatory and don't make him out to be the bad guy. Rather, let him know what you are feeling and why. If he really cares for you, he will help you work through the problem. But that does not mean he can do all the work for you! You must learn to handle your negative feelings about yourself and your relationship, because when you can control them you can reason them away.
Treating a partner with constant suspicion can easily be the death of any relationship. When you learn how to deal with the insecurities that cause these feelings, you will have a healthier relationship and feel better about yourself, too.

Great Love Advice
By Karl Sugar
Love advice is an important aspect to men married, single or divorced. Generally, it provides guidelines on how to treat your loved partner for the wellbeing of your relationship. Most men end up being lonely after a relationship break up simply because they lacked love advice. Here is some essential advice for men in their relationship.
Seclude Some Time for Your Partner
This is a great love advice to the majority of men who only spend time with their loved ones once in a week or even fail to. Spending some time with your partner usually assists in the establishing of a stable romance. Romance is an essential ingredient of a relationship and it feels incomplete without it. Thus, to establish romance in a relationship, secluding some of your time with your loved one is a great move.
Make a Decision before Getting Into a Relationship
Generally, a relationship is among the most essential features in an individual and often affects him either positively or negatively. Definitely, every man has in his mind what kind of a partner he desires to have in his life. However, many of the men fail to meet this special person they wish of and end up being with another one. You should get into a relationship with someone who is trustworthy, loving and cherishing. This is a great love advice to men.
Show That You Love and Cherish Your Partner
Show your partner how much you love and cherish her by expressing your love with words as well as action. This is the greatest and prominent love advice for you. For instance, saying "I LOVE YOU" to your partner creates a great positive impact on your relationship compared to when you just say "I LIKE YOU". There exists a big difference between "LOVE" and "LIKE" and the girls usually never take them as the same. For example, when you tell your partner "I LIKE YOU" you have great possibility of ending into the friend zone. However, with this love advice, you will end up in the right path.
Treat Your Partner the Right Way
Treat your loved one in the same way you would like her to treat you. Take a flashback of what you have said to your partner for the last few days. Do the words fit her? Or are they harsh to her? And would you like her to treat you the same? Therefore, next time you speak to your loved one, don't use harsh words or let anger take control over you. Definitely, this love advice will make your partner appreciate you.
Understand Your Partners Feelings
A relationship is generally based on feelings one has towards his partner. Many of the love advice articles do not explain this. At times we break up a relationship and we are not able to explain or understand why it had to happen. It is the feeling towards your loved one or partner that controls you. Therefore, if you develop hatred, expect your love to end up hurting but if you develop love, definitely expect a long love life. Always ensure that your loved one is ever smiling and happy. Make it possible through this love advice.

4 Ways to LOVE Better Than Ever
By Steve Wickham
Love runs the entire world, and if we think that's rubbish we just need to think about how we respond to many variations of acceptance and rejection that come our way. We all desire to be loved, but rarely is it natural for us to want to love.
If we are serious about love, about getting love right, and protecting ourselves by loving in advance of others' love, we will want to get real about it; really real.
Let's think of love as an acrostic. We can arrange L.O.V.E.:
Listen when other people are speaking.
Overlook pettiness, common faults, and forgive failures.
Value other people for who they are.
Express love in practical ways.
Let's explore those in greater detail:
1. LISTEN
We all like to be listened to, so it's ironic that we prefer to speak rather than listen. Good listeners are so scarce. But if we are prepared to listen with an open mind and heart we find the simplest way to love someone by our communication. Most people are pleasantly surprised that we are interested in them enough to listen.
2. OVERLOOK
There are so many petty things that prove as stumbling blocks before us. We are frustrated by the most innocuous things. But when we have perspective - more of the God viewpoint - we find it easier to overlook common lapses and to forgive innocent mistakes.
We must ask ourselves, "How important is this issue, really?"
3. VALUE
Valuing all others for who they are, despite the temptations to judge or limit our expression of love somehow, is very simple, but we don't do it that well ordinarily. Particularly in our family members' lives, we are placed there to love them beyond our prejudices. They are their own people, responsible for their own choices, and we should respect them for that.
Valuing others for who they are is perhaps the greatest gift of love, where no fear breaches the relationship. When we value others for who they are, more freedom is enjoyed by all (except those driven by an anger-laden inner fear).
4. EXPRESS
What is love if it cannot be expressed in practical terms? Others are blessed in our creativity to innovate around love. We use our imaginations, finding ways of doing, saying, or giving nice things to those we are in contact with, or simply by spending time with them.
***
Loving people is made simpler when we 1) listen intently to them, 2) overlook minor problems with a forgiving attitude, 3) value people for who they are, and 4) express our love in creatively innovative ways.

Six Key Steps on Having a Successful Relationship
By Jake R Reynolds
1. Know that you cannot change the person that you are with.
This part is as or more important as people get into relationships and find things out about their partner that they hate or feel are impossible to stand, but they feel that down the line the person will either grow out of it, or change later. Now with this I am not talking about small habits like leaving the seat up after using the bathroom, or forgetting to take the dog for a walk. Those things are trainable and are not built into your DNA. Everyone has little quirks that their partner does not like. However, unwillingness to compromise or being a homebody when you're a die-hard clubber are not things that you will see change too often, at least not by the majority or people. Or if they are a person that cuts deep when having an argument and always yells at you and says hurtful things, then chances are they will stay like that for the duration of your relationship. Now with a problem like the one just mentioned, once or twice is passable. Everyone deserved a second chance depending on the situation.
This is the "ehh, maybe they were angry" pass and not like this all the time. OK, I get that. But again, some things are just how a person is. You cannot CHANGE a person, and if you are trying too then that shows that you are not into the person that you are with, but rather into the thought of how you want them to be. Not good, and not something that you want to rely on because most of the time it's not going to happen.
2. Communication is key.
Talk, talk, talk, and then talk some more! Seriously, never stop talking to your partner about anything and everything. The more you let out now, the fewer problems you will have later. Trust me. I know sometimes you don't want to talk or you're not in the mood but this stops many arguments from developing if you guys just discuss your problems with one another. Things don't get to fester and true feelings come out early on.
3. Stay faithful.
This one is the deal breaker. If you're going to cheat, why be in a relationship? I don't get it. Stay away from relationships if you know that you want to be with more than one person. No having your cake and eating it too. I know my fellas that are good dudes are tired of trying to be the good guy and getting played out, and women are tired of labeling us as no good and dogs. So why help the cause. Let's take care of business and grow up. Stop playing with people's hearts and treat them the way you would want to be treated.
4. Have your own lives.
It's great to get lost in each other's world, and all that lovely dovey stuff, but as close as you guys are, you should also have separate hobbies and things of that nature. This keeps the relationship fresh and helps you guys keep your identities but also not allowing you to get so wrapped up in each other's worlds that you forget your own friends and family. Getting to know each other's friends is great, and even hanging out with them is fun too, but to share any and everything with each other can get boring a bring a stale taste to the relationship.
5. Treat each other with respect.
This is something that many people in relationships lack. They sometimes feel that once they are with someone, which person becomes their property and that could not be further from the truth. You need to always treat your partner with respect, and love.
6. Love your partner for being the person they are.
Loving that person for them is one of the best things you can do. Love goes along way. Love them when they are at their worst like you love them when they are at their best. Trust me, they will love you back! I promise.
Unconditional Love
By Bryan Ridgley
"Unconditional Love is like that between a mother and her child" is one of the most sentimentally beautiful quotes I have ever come across. It symbolizes such a special type of unconditional love. It seems that most people I have conferred with on this have picked this type of unconditional love as being the most official concept or picture of the highest expression of it. While it reminds me of some of the most personal experiences I regard as sentimental (in an antiquated sense), I am not a total believer that is the highest.
While I accept this type as special, this type as universally regarded, leaves out everyone else. Let's spend a moment and figure out if and how we may define, understand and express some higher ideals through other love types also entitled unconditional love. I am a believer in using reason to think. So, I will use a '3 fold' (3 fold model viewed on a triangle), and use the 'body, mind and spirit' as an analogy of understanding 3 planes, 3 ways or 3 truths. If I am suppose to love myself, love my brothers and love god... I better have a clear distinction about what love really is. I looked up the word love and there were 12 definitions. Everything from 'feeling tender about' or 'desiring someone' or 'something to having sex', 'worshipping god' or 'a score in sports'. Most of these are certainly conditional types of love (I had also said to myself).
Forget about love, place the emphasis on the word unconditional as applied to love. I found 3 types of unconditional love and 5 types of love (depending on how you and I want to further define others). I find light and definition in these 3 types of unconditional love by placing them on the 3 fold (model). The 3 fold in this case used is Physical, Metaphysical and Spiritual. Here how it plays out for me.
The Physical (Body)
The opening quote wins, it rocks! It represents the maternal, paternal love which emanates from Family and by blood. It is the widest of types and/or forms of unconditional love practiced on earth, by far. Most of the experiences, the memories, the challenges of our lives, the silliest and the most important things or aspects of our lives are remembered around family experience. At this dinner table we can all hate each other and still be there for love. This form of love qualifies for placement herein as the physical body of love.
Oh, and if you thought I was going to leave out Sex, will screw you! Sex works very well in this level and dense playing field, though sex lives in a sphere that cycles itself through all dimensions and works itself through an amazing field of attraction and behavioral functioning. Sex is also inherent within every other governing universal law. Sex can also be observed like gravity and within the local laws boundaries.
The Metaphysical (Mind or Emotions)
This is another level or type where 'unconditional love', defined as such with NO conditions and NO limitations should mean just that... unconditional. But... is it? This is the place where we really do all live together. We have our separate houses we build for our (physical) selves and families to have shelter and interior walls (to hide from each other). In the Metaphysical, we have no walls. We live together here with apparent genetically coded barriers that protect us from gravitating too closely to each other. We are quickly finding the truth that we are all one. It is from this world we are looking out further, beyond our physical, all living together, in community, on the planet.
This is the playing field of 'us and them' (not us or them). This is where we take stands (by status quo values) on acceptance, tolerance and hypocrisy.
This is the world of thought and just as so, thoughts have vibratory substance. It is within this realm we authorize choice. Within this realm we also make our environment what it is to be without a guide. It is also this realm that is capable of producing the fruits of our intention. We can use our connection with the forces of 'one' to shape ourselves at will. We bench press with and dance around each other's strengths and weaknesses. While in our most ignorant moments, we feel separate from each other and YET, when we hear a story, see a movie, feel the music, we come to also feel a knowingness that we touch each other here in ways that are simply invisible. When living in this state or level or consciousness, all we can imagine is possible, as the possibilities are exponential. For this to happen can only mean that we have ourselves, become less conditional.
The Spiritual
This is the type of unconditional love that capstones the entire god, self, soul and or mate and the most entrepreneurial expressions of unconditional love we will achieve in human being. It is the only one that is not required for us to master. It is totally elective and therein is comprised of those in a volunteer army.
The Idea here is that each one of us must reach out to build our life within god. It is this living in god that comprises the structure of every religion and provides creativity to every art and science. Personally, our growth through surrendering to a higher power (God) fuels the foundation of our persuasive mission toward realizing peace. The sense of peace we feel comes through the cracks and crevices of experience and pain, from the giving of our worries and fears to trust and faith. With this level of spiritual love, the boundaries widen beyond inside and out.
Through our shell (the body) we navigate our dance with spirit, love and life, as well as it's heavens and yes... here on earth. It is here we must accept EVERYTHING about ourselves, our lives, our mate, family and friends. Our defeats and our enemies melt away in this awareness because even their acceptance is unconditional through forgiveness and gratitude. What makes this even more impactful to me, is that now I realize, I had not felt as deeply about our need for unconditional love and had not understood its meaning as fully as I do right now.

How to Find Love Again in Your Marriage
By Rich Andrews
Have you ever wondered how to find love again in your marriage? Finding love again just when you think it has left your marriage for good may be more possible than you think. If you use the three keys described below consistently over time it has been shown that you can indeed find love again - in your marriage.
The first key is to appreciate what you already have in your spouse.
It's that simple. Appreciate your spouse for who he or she is - not for what you want them to be. It is a change in your attitude that can make all the difference in the world and can start a chain reaction in creating love where it seemed like none existed. Marriage Fitness Relationship Coach and Author, Mort Fertel talks about being able to create love out of nothing. Creating love out of nothing starts with the attitude of your heart.
Everyone wants to be appreciated for who they are. Everyone. The best start is to make yourself change the way you think about your spouse. Stop rewinding and playing all of the negative "tapes" in your head. Why not instead look for the positive qualities your husband or wife possesses. I can promise you that it will be a whole lot more pleasant and productive exercise if you do.
The second key is to demonstrate to your spouse that you appreciate them. You can't just think your way back into finding love. You have to show your spouse that you appreciate and care for them. Telling them is a great way to start. How will they know unless they hear it from you? Words have the power to bring healing or inflict harm. One note of caution here - be sincere and to the point. People can usually tell if we are laying it on thick, or telling the truth. And, when you are using your words to show your appreciation keep it short. Less is definitely more
The third and final key is to let your actions speak louder than your words in telling your spouse that you appreciate them. Words are nice, but actions tend to give your words more power. It's like the old saying, "what you do speaks so loudly that I can't hear what you say." "Speaking" his or her love language with your actions tells your spouse that you really mean what you say. Why not tell your spouse that you appreciate what they do so much that you want to give them a well deserved break. Then follow that with some action. Things like doing the grocery shopping, cooking dinner, or washing the dishes when it is usually your other half that does those jobs sends a clear message: you love and appreciate your spouse. Keep in mind that you are doing this even when you don't feel like it. That really comes through and can create love even in the coldest of hearts.
Now you know three keys on how to find love again in your marriage. You can certainly find other ways to get rekindle romance in your marriage, but it all starts with these basic principles that we all tend to neglect as time goes by in our relationships. So DON'T forget to practice these three keys. Change the way you think and appreciate what you have in your spouse. Tell your spouse that you appreciate them. And show them everyday that you do.

Perfect Route to Save a Relationship
By Sreejan Guha Niyogi
How to Save a Relationship
There are often a few occasions when a man and woman who are having a relationship between them feel that somehow the relationship is not working out. There are many reasons behind this. Women tend to feel that their partners are not giving her proper time and that they devote most of their time to their jobs. A feeling of negligence starts creeping inside the hearts of women. On the other hand men feel that women don't pay any attention to them anymore. If you are also one of them then we do have a problem in hand. But fortunately there is a solution to how one can save a relationship.
Tips to Save a Relationship
I am going to tell you how you can save your relationship. Continue reading my tips and in the end you will find that saving a relationship may not be that difficult. Yes, it may take some time but who is in a hurry eh?
Do You Really Want to Save It?
Firstly you have to decide whether you should save the relationship. Does your partner also think that the relationship should be saved? One person alone cannot save the relationship. Both the partners should have their willingness to save the relationship. Otherwise it will be of no use to save the relationship. If both the partners feel that the relationship should be saved then my tips will surely work.
Find out the Problem
Have you ever tried to find out what the problem is in your relationship? I have often seen that couples don't really know what is wrong in the relationship. For example if someone goes for an extra marital affair then the problem is he or she is not being able to get intimate with his or her partner. The extra marital affair is not causing the problem- less intimacy is causing the problem here. That is why it is very important for the couples to find out where the problems lie if they are to save the relationship.
Make Proper Communication with your Partner
Are you communicating your feelings and thoughts to you partner? May be you are not doing in the proper manner. A communication gap should not be created at any cost.try to listen carefully to whatever your partner has to say. Communicate from your heart. Express your feelings and love in the best way possible. Assure your partner that you are eager to whatever he or she has to say and that you want to sort the differences out.
Spend Some Time Together
Why not take your spouse for a movie. This will allow you to spend the time together. You can also arrange for a romantic candle lit dinner at home. Your partner will surely appreciate the fact that you still care about the relationship and are doing your best to save it.
Its Not Easy to Save a Relationship
Solving the problems that you are facing in the relationship may take something out of the ordinary. However if you really want to save a relationship, then you should be prepared to fight through the tough period. Remember morning only comes after a spell of darkness!

Why Do You Settle For Less Than You Deserve?
By Denise LaFrance
One of the realities of life is that we don't have total control over everything in it. We do, however, have control over many things through the choices we make. Every choice has ramifications-whether it's the food we eat, the relationship we are in or the job we take. For many of us, it's easier to let things happen to us than to make a choice about getting what we really want. Many women I've worked with are so afraid of being alone, they admit to consciously settling for someone they know isn't the right one for them. They are not driven by love for another person, but by their fear of not being in a relationship at all. Inevitably, these women wake up one day in relationships that are totally wrong for them, asking themselves, "How did I get here?" The answer for most is usually either, "I settled for what came vs. what was right for me", or "I got what I wanted vs. what I needed."
The reason this tends to happen to so many women is that there are thoughts and feelings that easily convince us to settle. For some it is low self-esteem. Women who don't think they "deserve more than what they can get" are often the ones who consistently find themselves in bad relationships. For other women it may be a desire to be in a comfortable relationship, where there is nothing beyond a quiet routine. But without growth of any kind, they can find themselves being taken advantage of and are often left for a more stimulating partner. And the biggest of them all-fear. Fear that we'll make poor choices, so we make no choices at all. The problem is that by surrendering our choices, we help to create a "this stuff always happens to me" mentality.
Based on the above, I advise you to do some introspective work here. How often have you settled for things in life versus choosing them, in relationships or elsewhere? What drove you to that settling? Was it fear, low self-esteem or a desire to escape a different situation? And once you've answered those questions, would you make a different decision today and why?
Now, let's examine two elements that are involved in every decision you make-want vs. need. When it comes to relationships, you may say you want someone who is good looking, makes a great living and loves to travel. In reality, what you need may be someone who becomes more attractive as you get to know them, comes home happy because they LOVE what they do and whose world revolves around your home together. Discerning the difference between what you want and what you need will help you make choices that will be much better for you long-term. In other words, choices about what is right for you based on your values, your beliefs and what you REALLY want for yourself long term will always lessen the chances of you settling for something less than you want or deserve.
Working through issues that keep you in a cycle of settling for less is crucial if you want enduring contentment and satisfaction. A coach can help you identify what you need, based on your values and beliefs, as well as to look at the way you go about making choices. This can be critical in helping you feel empowered and certain that you are not settling for less than you deserve.

Real Love: Gifts Do Not Prove Anything
By Francis Nmeribe
Gifts play a more than appropriate role in relationships. People see gifts as evidence of interest, love and affection. In the game of love, gifts have loomed large as the only evidence of love for most people. Could it be the truth or is it a lie that has been thought to be the truth for centuries that gifts are critical evidence of love?
Many girls, ladies and women have been heard singing out how much the man they have a relationship cared for them. In all cases, the evidence they have is the fact that he lavishes them with gifts. The ability of men in relationships to buy gifts for their ladies has been misconstrued as evidence of their love. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Gifts are keys of control. When you give anyone a gift, you are in a form of authority over the person. Relationships should be run on mutual grounds with both parties mutually respecting one another. When one of the people involved is providing all the gifts, that person automatically take the center stage in the relationship. This position always has the adverse effect of establishing a master and slave type of relationship instead of a mutually beneficial relationship of equals.
When the ladies are the ones that have the financial capacity to provide the gifts, the result is the same. The relationship becomes lopsided. You have one person calling the tunes and the other expected to only dance to the tune. He or she who holes the purse string is in command. This applies in relationships as it does in politics.
Anytime you ask a woman who has steadily received gifts from an admirer, acquaintance or a lover to discuss how much respect she gets from the partner, her response would startle you. It would startle you to learn how much she has been disrespected, her opinion disregarded.
Gifts give the giver inappropriate feeling of authority. They make inappropriate demand for return favours. People who receive gifts are intrinsically obliged to give something in return. Ladies are generally in less able position to give back in the measure they are given in materials. They pay for gifts with their virtue.
For ninety nine per cent of men, gifts - lavish or simple - are given on purpose - for sexual favours in return. Some men veil it in love, but their motives are clear. Some ladies are able to read the motives but feel powerless for reasons that one cannot easily understand to reject the Greek gifts.
Gifts excite ladies in ways that baffles me. There is a total loss of control by ladies in the presence of gifts. You can feel from a distance the impact of a gift on a lady. She is so elated that you can feel the sexual wiles rising to crescendos that turn the male givers. In appreciation they fly into your hands. They lose the inhibitions if there were any before. Very few men would have their mind on the need to respect our woman's right to be virtuous when she reacts to gifts.
Men know this situation. The bad among the men would exploit this without much ado. This is why it is for the pot bellied men, physically ugly as a duck can have at his beck and call, the most esteemed of ladies or young girls. This is why most think that everything about life is a matter of cash.
The only things gifts prove in a relationship are how evil men can be and how much a weakening agent it is for women. It takes away a woman's ability to remain chaste throughout the pre-marriage period of a relationship. Gifts embolden men to take away the virtue of women.
In real love, therefore, gifts do not prove anything.

When Loss Is Gain For Love
By Steve Wickham
"Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all."
~Alfred, Lord Tennyson
(1809-1892)
We can often be left wondering as to the flippancy of plastic platitudes, and this quote, above, can easily qualify for misapplication, losing the strength of its redoubtable truth. We don't want to go there - where those who may be genuinely aggrieved are disposed for even further discouragement because of a carelessly intended clich.
No, we can do better than that.
TO HAVE NEVER LOVED
To have never loved would surely require the state of having never been loved, for how could a person who has experienced the receipt of love not return it?
Then there are those who may have chosen the safe route in life; to not couple-up or invest in significantly deep relationships, because of the surpassing risk of hurt. Fear is the motivation. Such a 'safe' life is really no life at all.
Real life is known to run the gauntlet of love. It has to, because life would be a waste otherwise.
So we may see the detriment within the person who has not risked for love. To have never loved is almost synonymous with a state of having never lived.
TO HAVE LOVED AND LOST
It was Queen Elizabeth II who said, "Grief is the price we pay for love." I think that quote could be improved - grief is the price we pay for having loved.
God gives us a life that requires risk in order to gain, but in gaining we inevitably lose - not the idea of life itself, but we experience loss, and we could ponder the purpose of such experiences. All good things have their purpose. And love is good.
The purpose of love, or of risking life toward the ends of love, is growth; mainly emotional and spiritual growth. But such growth doesn't finish there; it ramps up in the measure of loss - when the love we have so keenly invested is transformed in a flash from reality to a memory.
Grief is on a higher plane for growth than simply love is. There is a requirement of true strength of character to negotiate its hilly terrain.
Grief is a mountaineer guide of the highest order.
Grief takes us from the base camp of Love to the summit of Maturity.
***
It's better to have loved and lost because of the experiences and tremendous life lessons afforded in God through, and because of, the journey. We are bigger, more compassionate people for having loved and lost.
